We keep the objects that outlived their makers, the letters that were never sent, the linens worn soft by a century of hands, and the quiet stories that refused to fade with them.
The Ashgrove Archive collects, restores, and documents works on paper, linen, and handmade objects from the last two centuries. Every piece is catalogued by hand and held with the same patience it took to make it.
There is a particular light in an old room. It falls across a table that has been oiled for a hundred years, across a letter folded in thirds and never sent, across a bowl shaped by someone who had somewhere else to be. We have spent our lives following that light. Our work is to notice what has been kept, to ask why, and to place it carefully where it can be seen again. Nothing here is new. Everything here is waiting to be looked at properly.
